Flip Feature
Windyne’s patented Flip and Slide™ aerodynamic trailer fairings are the only side skirts that vertically retract to provide full access to the undercarriage in 30 seconds.
Innovative planning and design enables full-coverage in the downward position while allowing the Flip and Slide™ fairing to easily flip up with the assistance of gas shocks against the side of the trailer providing unrestricted access to landing gear, belly boxes, tire hangers, chain hangers, reefer and more. Flip and Slide™ fairings rest tightly against the trailer box in the upright position preventing conflict with even the narrowest docks and loading bays.
The patented flip feature is also helpful when avoiding larger obstacles, preventing high centering, during border inspections, and backing into heavily sloped docks.
